Alternatives to Brazilian softwood plywood

quality, sustainable and available

Since the start of the anti-dumping investigation AD729 into Brazilian softwood plywood, demand for stable, reliable alternatives has been growing. Altripan offers you various qualitative solutions that are immediately available from stock.

Our alternatives:

Lumin – Construction plywood based on Pinus taeda, produced in Uruguay. FSC-certified, technically stable and CE2+ approved.

Altripine – African plywood based on Pinus patula, among others, a robust choice for various construction applications. CE2+ approved.

Alpha Spruce – Our private label alternative to classic Finnish spruce. Consistent quality, attractively priced and CE2+ certified.

Radiata B/CP – Asian plywood with flawless surface, ideal for visible work or interior construction. CE2+ standard.

Altripine Premium – European plywood based on Pinus sylvestris, characterized by its durability and strength. Of course CE2+.

All of the above products are available in standard formats and available with tongue and groove for easy installation in floors, walls or other structural applications.

Important difference: these alternatives are CE2+ certified for structural use. Classic Brazilian plywood based on Elliotti pine is typically only CE4-approved and therefore limited in application in load-bearing structures within the European market.

With strong inventories, fast deliveries and technical advice, we help you smoothly switch to a reliable alternative.
