Altripan NV exceeds the threshold of 90% sustainably certified materials

Altripan NV exceeds the threshold of 90% sustainably certified materials

With great pleasure, we share a special milestone with you today. In the first quarter of 2024, Altripan NV exceeded the historic threshold of 90% in terms of the share of sustainably certified materials.

This includes certifications such as those from the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) and the FLEGT certificate. This achievement is a confirmation of our continued pursuit of sustainability and our commitment to environmental conservation.

To further illustrate the impact of our work, we would like to share some specific percentages per market:

Scandinavia: 100% sustainably certified materials. Scandinavia is known for its progressive attitude towards sustainability, and we are proud that we can certify all our materials in this region.

Eastern Europe: 100% sustainably certified materials. In Eastern Europe too, we have successfully managed to certify all our materials, which is an important achievement for our activities in this region.

Netherlands: 98% sustainably certified materials. The Netherlands is a market where we have achieved a particularly high standard in terms of sustainability, with almost all our materials meeting strict certification standards.

Belgium: 94% sustainably certified materials. In Belgium too, we have managed to achieve a significant share of sustainably certified materials, which underlines our commitment to sustainability in this market.

France: On the right track with 82%. Although we have not yet reached the level of some other markets, we are making good progress in France and continue to commit to further increasing our share of sustainably certified materials.

DACH countries (Germany, Austria, Switzerland): 71% sustainably certified materials. There is still room for improvement in the DACH countries, and we are working on a master plan to increase our share of sustainably certified materials in these markets.

Luxembourg: 62% sustainably certified materials. In Luxembourg too, there is still work to be done, and we are committed to improving our performance in this market.

Altripan is currently working on a master plan to further improve sustainability figures in markets where there is still room for improvement. More information on this will follow soon.

If you would like to know more about our sustainability policy, our products or how you can contribute to a more sustainable world, please do not hesitate to contact us. Together we can make a difference.
